Open Net Korea is a not-for profit organisation which campaigns for freedom of expression in the cyber space, reform of copyright regime (to the extent it has become obsolete and hinders creation of digitally disseminated works), proper government policies affecting users and service providers in the Internet. Open Net Korea (1)offers in-depth analysis of these topics so that news reporters can have a better understanding and provide more useful news coverage, (2)campaigns for law reform in partnership with MPs (3) launches public interest lawsuits and (4) offer public lectures and scholarships to promote awareness and research in the area of Internet policy making and Internet governance.
