Developing and effectively using Multistakeholder Principles

24 October 2013 - A Workshop on Multistakeholderism in Bali, Indonesia

Agenda

Principles of Multistakeholder Cooperation

This workshop entitled “Developing and effectively using Multistakeholder Principles” is going to take place in a roundtable format, and will aim to build upon discussions that took place at the IGF, including the Taking stock session at the 2012 IGF in Baku, Azerbaijan, and a session on this topic at the WSIS +10 review event in February2013 in Paris as well as other events to promote awareness of multistakeholder principles and to share ideas about how they can be developed and effectively used. The concrete discussions and recommendations from the session in Paris at the WSIS +10 will form the base for this interactive roundtable event. The roundtable’s panellists represent geographical diverse multistakeholder groups from civil society, the private sector, the Internet technical community, and governments. The panelists and discussion with the participants will focus on how to develop and productively employ multistakeholder principles in Internet governance issues and will bring out a range of viewpoints.
