What can stakeholders do to guarantee and improve Internet security? With a special emphasis on authentication at the transaction level, this workshop will outline key activities and progress on technical solutions, policy recommendations, capacity building and best practices. Experienced panellists will map out the practical approaches and experiences that have proven successful and delve into issues such as authentication, digital identity management and government deployment of digital identity systems. The diverse range of stakeholder perspectives and the interactive attributes of the workshop will ensure a balanced dialogue, and above all integrate a capacity-building thread with emphasis on economic development issues.
